The stage is set. Two podiums await. An auditorium beckons, with an omnipresent silence looming over each vacant seat. Tonight, the entire nation will bear witness to that most democratic and veridical ofAmerican political traditions - the final presidential debate.

And this time, what the candidates say will matter. And what they fail to say will matter, too. And it will reshape the entirety of the noble, infallible, and truth-seeking electorate's mind. And the whole of the nation, no - the world - will be made better for it.

Justice, and equality, and prosperity, and freedom will pour forth in the most plentious cascade of goodness and righteousness that humanity has ever known, so that you, and I, our children, and our children's children, will gaze back upon this debate, this election, this moment and say, "a difference was made in the world - and it was made for the better."

Yeah, and the Red Sox will win the World Series...
